Band Trumpet

If you’re child is interesting in beginning band, trumpet is an ideal instrument. The instrument is a great way to learn discipline and often becomes a life long pursuit. Student model trumpets are also relatively inexpensive when compared to other instruments.

In a brass band, trumpet players often carry the melody. This is because the high, bright sound of a trumpet easily cuts through the sound of the other instruments. Three or four good trumpet players can usually out blow a 20+ member ensemble.

For a marching band, trumpet players are essential. A marching band just isn’t the same without the blare of trumpets. Many marching band pieces are orchestrated to accent the trumpet parts.
